On Monday, October 8th, our beloved Aaron passed away.
Dennis Aaron Lambert was born on January 24, 1978, in Alexandria, Virginia. A graduate of Lake Braddock High School in Burke, where he lived his entire adult life, Aaron loved, and was loved, by almost everyone he came in contact with. He was a passionate musician, and one of the best drummers you have ever heard. Throughout his life he played with a variety of bands in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. Aaron had a magnetic personality and an infectious sense of humor. When he told a story, you were helplessly captivated by his boundless charm and wit. It was often difficult to stop laughing. Aaron loved the outdoors (the beach, camping, hiking, rafting, and exploring), and brought a sense of wonder and curiosity to everything he did.
Most of all, Aaron loved his friends and family, especially his precious daughter, Elena. Aaron would tell you, unequivocally, that Elena was the apple of his eye and his proudest accomplishment. He was a wonderful and adoring father. They often took long walks together as they explored nature on the way to one of their favorite places, Burke Lake Park. Like her father, Elena also has an infectious charm and loves to tell stories and spend time with her devoted family.
Aaron is survived by his daughter, Elena; his grandmother, Sylvia Viar; his parents, Dennis and Christine Lambert; his sisters, Cindy Agresto (Bucky) and Kelley Morrison Lambert; his brothers, Jo-Jo Agresto; Craig Lambert (Tanya), and Keith Lambert (Gillian); his nieces Christina, McKenzie and Amanda and nephews Brett, Dylan and Owen; his great-nephew Huxley and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his countless friends, including his longtime best friends, Adam Dombrowski and Joe Holloway; and his beloved dog, Kiya.
A Celebration of Life for friends and family will take place in the spring.
Aaron will be deeply missed, but will always be seen and felt amongst the stars, trees, oceans, and breezes.
