I worked with Aaron right when he was deciding to join the military. We talked a lot about it and I got to know what a good person he was. I didn't know him that well, and I regret that I won't get to. Just know that he made a lot of people's lives brighter, even if he just met them for a little while, and that impact lives on in them, and me.

I went to school with Aaron. He was a great kid and was very smart. I remember in the 3rd grade, Aaron went to a Braves game and came back to school and showed us an autographed baseball that his dad caught. May he rest in peace. My prayers are with the family.
