Barbara,
Our memories of you and Doug go back to Chico High School, and we don't ever recall seeing or thinking of one without the other. You both always set the highest standards and gained respect and admiration from all who knew you. Doug's legacy is formidable. We sympathize with your loss and hope that wonderful memories of your long marriage will soften your sorrow.

Barbara: We will all miss Doug; the man who was one of those that everyone who knew him just couldn’t help but like and admire. He was friendly beyond measure with a ready smile and good word for all he met. That is my impression of Doug from the few short years we shared at Chico High School and brief encounters in following years. Although I don’t recall knowing him them, perhaps we also shared some time at the First Christian Church in Chico that I attended for a period in my early years.

Barbara,
Memories of Doug will always be cherished with his kindness and humor. There was rarely a dull moment with Doug and his infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed.

Barbara,
I am so sorry for your loss. Doug was a wonderful classmate. I pray you will listen to the Lord and let him take care of you.

Barb
So sorry to hear about Doug. He was a great guy and will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, your niece (in-law),
Kristine
