Aaron, we miss you deperatly. Thanks for all the tips, advice on the ice, especially when you weren't feeling great... You were amazing... you're attitude was amazing to both Brayden and I... He was more heart broken than I... I know you are safe and happy. Thanks for all the words of advise the last year or 2.... You are missed...

Dear Matern Family--so sorry to hear
about "Matern". You're in our prayers and will ever remember him with his Aggie team and the great, fun times we had with them. He was a special guy.

Love what you wrote about Aaron!! He was a best friend to me during a very hard time and though in our 'adult' years we lost touch I have never forgot him or all he did for me!!! I was there the first time he played hockey and Im so glad to know it brought him so much joy throughout his life and connected him to so many wonderful people!!! Rest in Peace sweet friend and prayers of comfort for your gorgeous family!

Cresta, I am so sorry for your loss! Your husband was a great man! He taught me a great deal about hockey. I will miss seeing him skate on Friday nights.

So sorry for your loss, our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you now and during all the hard times ahead.

Joann and Gary- You and your family are im my prayers. We will miss Aaron so much.

I have known Aaron since he was around 13, played hockey with him, coached his team, and just hung out an talked about life, hockey and his family many times. Hockey at the rink will never be the same without him at the rink. He will be missed greatly and was a great friend. Miss you Aaron, until we meet again! -

Dear Cresta,

I loved coaching with Aaron. He was a wonderful person, and a spectacular coach. I will miss him very much as he continues on a magnificent journey to a place where we will all play hockey again someday. I look forward to that time.
I wish you well.
