Aaron was my best friend. We grew up together in small town America. He made me laugh all the time. Healthy and sick he had the best sense of humor. He was so talented and thoughtful and truly extraordinary. I miss him already. He had a hard life but always made the best of everything. He was so resilient it gave me courage to be so too. He made a huge impact on my life. I will always be thankful that I knew him and that he was my friend. I hope you are running and traveling and being free...

The four hour run in Boise was one of the happiest days of my life. It wasn't until hour three that I realized we were completely lost and frozen. I didn't care. We were running lost together. Wherever you are running now, you took part of my heart with you.
