Not sure what to say?

I did not hear of Dr. Mintz's passing until just now. I am a practicing Pediatrician in Oregon and one of Dr. Mintz's former medical students and Pediatric residents (1986-1993). I think of Dr. Mintz very frequently still today. He was a wonderful teacher and I know he is missed by many. I just want his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, to know that he was a wonderful, dedicated teacher to many!

Dr. Mintz was the most important man in my life. I worked in his office on Telephone Road on the weekend and summers when I was 17 and 18 years old. When my children were born he was at the hospital before my obstetrician. My heart breaks that I lost touch with him over the years. He took care of me medically until I was 27 years old. I don't know how I missed his death because I have searched the internet for him for several years. I now work for one of his former residents. He would...

I suspect that I speak for all residents who passed through Ben Taub Hospital in that Dr. Mintz was an inspiration to all of us. He truly loved his work and his commitment to teaching young doctors to be good clinicians as well as good people was unparalleled. His "tough love" is now appreciated and I frequently think of some of his Morning Report comments and smile. He will be missed by several generations of pediatricians and patients.

The # 1 Pediatrician at Ben Taub .took great care of my kids .

Dr. Aaron Mintz was a great teacher, a great pediatrician and a personal friend and mentor during my years at Baylor and Ben Taub hospital. I know he influenced hundreds of pediatricians who practice around the country.

Dr. Mintz had a profound influence on all the pediatric trainees that came to learn and care for children at the Ben Taub hospital. I have thought of him through the years, and have been grateful for his wisdom and knowledge.

Dr Mintz and BT Pedi Nurses

On behalf of the former pediatric nursing staff at Ben Taub Hospital, our deepest condolences to papa Mintz'z family. We will always remember him as our hero, our mentor and the best support nursing, child life and social service could have. He was and will always be a legend to every nurse and resident that came to our Pediatric units. The news of his passing was
so sad to hear, but we will always cherish the good memories, and the accomplishments that as a team under his leadership we...
