My heart goes out to the Runolfson family. So sorry for your loss. Aaron was an exceptional man, one of the best. He was a very dear friend to my brother, Rod, both from school and as fellow police officers at HPD. God bless you, Aaron, RIP. Deborah Pierce

To the Runolfson Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Aaron at the CSUH Police Department. I remember when Aaron won the “Avoid the 21” pin. He worked hard to earn it, and he was so proud. I will always remember his stories of Summer Idaho trips. May Aaron Rest In Peace.

To the Runolfson family,

There are no words at this moment that can ease your pain. But love and the friends that you have will always be there for you. Aaron & I worked together during the "Avoid the 21" campaign back in the mid 90's to 2008. He was a go-getter and loved working the DUI enforcement. Aaron, you'll be missed by many of your friends & colleagues. May you rest in peace my brother. God has gain another angel in blue to guard the heavens.
