Williams, Aaron Drew, Sr. (Age 24) of Clinton, Maryland.
Our Bundle of Joy was born in Washington, DC on January 7, 1984 to the proud parents of Charles and Gwen Williams, Aaron Drew Williams took his last breath on August 8, 2008 at age 24.
Aaron received his High School diploma from Surrattsville High School. He gave his life at an early age participating in the things of God. He was a member at VCMI; his favorite scripture was John 1:1-5, which he quoted often. Our son loved people and everyone that knew him loved and treasured his smile and friendship. You couldn’t find a more loyal and trusting friend. He was a friend to the very end. Aaron was a gift from God: he shared his faith, he gave his love and he laughed a lot. He never met a stranger. The more destitute a person was the more love he poured into them. He packed a lot into his 24 years. Aaron had a mindset that he was the best in “everything” he could do “anything” especially playing basketball, pool, cards, dominos, etc. Aaron lived each day as though it was his last.
Aaron is survived by his three children: Dashawn, Alajah and Aaron Jr.; seven sisters: Shayla, Ingrid, Sandy(Black), Jodie, Rongerlar(Dennis), Sandra(Robert Jr.), Tonya(Henry); three brothers: Charles Jr.(Belinda), Robert “Bobby” and Donnell; three steps: Sheila(Twin), Gwinn and Glenn(Tracie), Grandmother: Beatrice Hill; Aunts: Artie, Thelma, Charlene, Michelle, Cheryl, Paula, Sharon, Elizabeth; Uncles: Larry, Vernon Jr., Earl, Brent, Richard, Jessie, Robert, Jerry, Andy and Ernest; the love of his life: Alicia; special friend: Deon; and his long time friends: Persell and Marcell and a host of relatives and friends.
His Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 10:00 am until Service time, 11:00 am at Victory Christian Ministries International, Inc. 3911 St. Barnabas Road, Suitland, Maryland. His Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland. Arrangements entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, Pomonkey, Maryland.
Gone Home
I’m gone home to my Heavenly Father. I have done my deeds
down here. Save your tears for yourself. My father called me Home to rest.
I’m gone while your still here. Know that I leave behind a veil you cannot see through. You will not see me so you must have faith and wait for the time that my Heavenly Father will call. Care for each other until then. Live your life to the fullest, and when you need me just whisper my name in your heart and I will be there.
Words of Gratitude
We simply want to say in a very special way; our thanks to you for all the prayers you prayed. They gave us strength and kept us brave. Our thanks to you for your visits; they told us that our friends cared. Our thanks to you for the condolence cards; we received them with the best regards. Our thanks to you for the last mile of the way, to leave our loved one there to stay. We are so grateful to have friends like you, for this world, God only made a few. Again, we thank you and may God continue to bless and keep you in his divine care.

To Charles and Gwen, I've known Aaron since he was a little boy and what a sweet young man he grew up to be. When I came to see you guys a couple of weeks ago he was standing in the door to greet me and that's how I'll remember him. My prayers will be with your family for days and months to come.
