Dear Mr. Robertson and Family:
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Abbadean my childhood friend. From the time we entered Monroe Elementary school together until our graduation fron Dunbar High School, Abbadean never forgot her roots that gave both of us our core values. I am especially grateful for Abbadean's leadership of the alumni of Dunbar High School for the Class of 1955.

I will never forget the day Mrs. Robertson, although not feeling very well that day herself, came across the street to try and lend words of encouragement and understanding to my mother. While we will miss Abbadean's physical presence, we certainly remember the times when our families got together and enjoyed each other. As a high school classmate, I feel a personal loss. Our class was very special and each member played an important part of that history.
