Not sure what to say?

It is clear, after re-reading the Guest Book, that AJ encouraged, supported, educated and inspired several generations of students and co-workers. I hope these people have, in turn, passed along all that AJ taught them. That is and will be her way to continue to reach generation after generation. AJ was a love. The last time I saw her was in April at the district UIL meet at Martin. I told her how great retirement was. She said, "I'll never retire. I'll teach until I drop." How prophetic! She lived for her students. She was true to Bowie. She was never judgmental; she was always smiling. AJ was a joy to know.

AJ: Viv and I miss you so much and now that catch up visit this summer will have to wait. Your support for the Drama kids was unflagging and your wisdom always solid. You could make blue jean teacher coveralls cool: not many folks can. All our love.

Its going to be hard to not to see that smiling face in the hall way
