Not sure what to say?

Bob, John, Annie and Henry & family, I think of Abby so very often. She touched so many people and stayed in our hearts forever. I´ve been to Portland recently and have wanted to get in touch (my daughter moved there). I cannot be there without thinking of all of you. Sending love to all of you, Peggy (Lampl)- from Perugia days

she meant a lot to me

Dear Crumpacker and Vieira family, We offer our love, condolences, and deepest sympathy. May Abby's bright and beautiful spirit shine on forever. Blessings and Prayers. The J. Allan Paterson family: Leron & Allaire

I met Abby in 1975 during a year abroad in Perugia, Italy. We were roommates in a freezing cold house. Three of us shared one bedroom and at night we slept with our hats and gloves on. We could see our breath. Abby enjoyed knitting socks and writing with her ripridograph. I cherish every memory we shared together. I can see her bright big smile shining on all who knew and loved her.

Abby taught us all so much. One of my favorites "there ain't no sin to take of your skin and dance around in your bones". Loved her decades ago in Perugia. Love her now. Condolences to all of her family and friends.

Wonderful obituary. Abby truly was one of a kind.

Abby was such a full package of wonderful. She exemplified the best in the human spirit. Thanks to knowing her, many of us will carry that spirit with us as we voyage on. My love and condolenses to you in her family.

So very to sorry to hear about the loss of Abby, but so sweet to hear how fully Abby lived her life with her extended family and adventures all over the world. Much love from the Bartelt and Hungerford family. Rose and John were young classmates.

Bob... Stan Hillman and I recently returned from a buck-scouting trip in the Wallowa Mountains when your name came up in the conversation, sadly because of Abby's death. We're both sorry. While I've never met her, the incredibly amazing obituary that was printed in the Oregonian made me wish I had. You are a lucky man. Stan and I hope the best for the future and thank you for many fond memories. Gary Brodowicz, retired prof from PSU
