We served on the Hamden Human Rights and Relations Commission for years. He was a wonderful, wise and kind person. He was also supportive of the Hamden Black History Committee. He will be missed. Peace be with you, family.

May Allah bless the family of Imam Hassan and grant him the highest part of paradise. From Allah we originated and unto him is our eventual return. There are so many memories I could share because he was not just a leader of prayer but he was an educator. He empowered those who heard him and loved him. I will never forget:

b. You have not because you ask not
c. When you do right by Allah (GOD) he will make right all things around you
