Not sure what to say?

I worked with Abe at Highland Plymouth duiring the 60s-70s. Great guy.

To the Abe Devries family. I wanted to express my sympathy to you. I enjoyed working with Abe and making sure his Lincoln always looked good. His familiar Abe license plate will always be remembered. I especially enjoyed the lunch we had together at Russs before I moved to Florida in 2015. My wife and I appreciate the time he gave me money to buy us ice cream out at Grand Haven when we could. Thank you for the great memories Abe.

Kindly,

My dad was kind and compassionate person. My dad is now and always will be a guardian angel. Dad had a nickname as honest Abe. Dad has a special heart for people who were new to this country and were struggling. Dad served as a guardian angel to people who needed help and to strangers who asked for help.
Dad had a big heart full of courage and generosity. His legacy is to be a guardian angel to people who are broken hearted and simply need a little inspiration during a tough time. So...

Connie, so sorry I couldn't get to the funeral home today; I got sicker as the day went along. I'll miss our annual visit and have a lot of fond memories of good conversations with Abe. He was a sincerely caring man who had lots of fascinating sides to him (and stories to tell!). Rest in peace, Abe, my friend.

Sorry for your loss Connie and family. I will miss his big hugs and smile.

I'll always remember Abe's kind heart. When we were in desperate need of a car, Abe met us at the dealership on a Saturday to look at several good choices for us. When it was time to leave, Abe sent us home in a very nice loaner, You cannot take that beautiful baby girl(our first) in that unsafe car of yours. Monday we picked up the car that provided great service for our family- numbering four children- until it was time for another Abe special!
Thank you, Abe.
Love,
Sally...

I remember him for the heart he had for those who struggled with life's circumstances. He saw the image of God in everyone.
