Dear Ann and Family,

We just recently heard about Abe's passing and want to convey our condolences to you.

Abe was a wonderful, special man. We knew that from the minute that we met him as my mother's neighbor across the hall at the Gables. When she lived there, Abe would always have an encouraging word when we'd meet in the hallways. What a blessing he was to others.

What a wonderful friend and colleague was Abe. He was the most decent person I have ever known. He cared deeply for others and helped thousands to achieve their goals, in schools, at the University, and on the tennis court. I will miss him deeply, but I will keep his memory in my heart throughout the rest of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially with Ann and Ruth and their daughters.
