Family and friends of Mr. Abe Kaplan,

We are sadden to hear of the loss of your loved one and our alumnus. We are most grateful for all that he did to support deserving LSU Engineering students and other LSU organizations. Our thoughts and sympathies are certainly with you.

I'm so sorry about your father, but what an interesting life! I know he must have been proud of his smart, beautiful daughter.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Abe during the early 1980's. He was a great man and I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Karen, I hope you are doing okay and time is the only thing I know that can help to heal the soul.
