Abel Aguilar Obituary
La Feria -- Abel Aguilar, Sr. 75, our loving father and grandfather entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Harlingen Solara Hospital.
Mr. Aguilar is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife Ninfa C. Aguilar, beloved parents; Jose Aguilar and Maria C. Aguilar, brothers Alberto Aguilar (Enedina) and Arnoldo "Nono" Aguilar.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving son Abel Aguilar, Jr. (Beatriz); beloved daughter, Corrie Aguilar (David), and his adoring granddaughters; Brianna Villiarreal, Ava Aguilar and Mia Aguilar. He is also survived by his two loving brothers; Armando Aguilar (Herlinda), Alonzo Aguilar (Nancy); and his loving sisters; Elodia Villarreal (Eloy +), Guadalupe Aguilar, Ana Davila (Joe) and a loving nephew who he saw as a brother Jose "Pali" Villarreal (Estela). Mr. Aguilar adored his family and devoted his life to them, he was especially proud of his three granddaughters.
Mr. Aguilar was a life-long resident of La Feria and a 1960 graduate of La Feria High School. We will miss his big smile and his gift to make others laugh. He will be remembered fondly by family and friends.
A visitation and prayer service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park located at 26873 North White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 - 7:00 pm followed by a rosary and prayer service from 7:00-9:00 pm.
A special thanks to his nephew Jose "Pali" Villarreal for his devotion and commitment towards our father and our family.
