Not sure what to say?

I am an English "Archive" friend of Gail's, since we first met in Cheshire UK in 1974 (I a newly qualified archivist at Cheshire RO and Gail doing research there). We kept in touch over many years and especially via Gail's many trips to England. My husband Barry, daughter Lizzie and I stayed with Gail, Arieh and Abigail for a memorable week in Summer 2005. It was a huge privilege to meet Abby - having heard so much about her over the years. She was one of the most interesting and amazing...

I don't even remember how I initially was introduced to Abby, but my brief years in New Jersey were enriched immensely by my relationship with her, and she is one of the enduring highlights of my time there! She had one of the most passionate spirits I've ever encountered.

Dear Gail and Pete,
I have such fond memories of our families together on the beach in Truro. Wonderful cookouts, great music and political discussions... Abby and Henry were always so much fun to be with. With love,

I was not fortunate enough to know Abigail, who sounds like an amazing person, but am privileged to know Gail and Arieh, to whom I send my deepest sympathies.

Abby was one of the most dedicated fighters for peace and freedom I have ever known. She was always there when we needed workers to prepare for a protest, to make posters, and to join a picket line or demonstration. A true insptiration. Sympathy and blessings to family

We were and are privileged to be friends of the Malmgreen family, to benefit from their hospitality and solidarity in Newark, West Orange, Great Meadows and New Mexico and to appreciate Abby's wide-reaching mind and compassion and Henry's warmth. We were in Newark-Essex CORE, ADA, and NJ Peace Action and are now with Rethink Afghanistan in South Florida. Our condolences. Bob and Patty Bender

What a strong will to make it to 100! I saw how hard the last few years were on Gail and Ariel in a visit to NJ in 2008, but even then we had some very interesting conversations. It was a joy to know her.

I was extemely sorry to hear about Abigail's passing, and hope Peter and Gail recover from her tragic loss.
