I had not seen them since I lived next door to his mother in Commerce in the 60´s. Of course Abit knew my name and commented on some memories from that time. What a great memory he had! Have great memories of Abit. I am a 65 and 67 graduate of UGA. A very active 4-H member, state winner in poultry in 95 and represented GA in national congress. Rock Eagle counselor 62, 62, 63 and 64. Only worked in the GA poultry three years at Gold Kist, however continued in the industry through 08. Great memories of Abit and his brother.
