Not sure what to say?

I just watched a program on the Military Channel that made mention of your relative, Abraham Baum. The program discussed the ill-planned raid led by Mr. Baum to rescue Patton´s son-in-law. After watching this I was curious as to who Abraham Baum was. So, I googled his name and read about him and also his obituary. A true American hero, for sure! You must be so proud of him. Makes me proud that I share his last name (my grandfather was also named Abe) and am Jewish. Sincerely, Brian Baum

I am a researcher in Brisbane Australia and the story of your father came to me via a completely random event. I cannot tell you how amazed I was to read of his life and I am sad at your loss. The greatness of his life and service will be remembered always.

Not sure if you will see this-just found out about your loss-David, this is the other Abe Baum's daughter, Anna--sorry for your loss. -I tried emailing you when my dad passed- April 2009- at age 96. [email protected] me when you can

Susan My condelences on the loss of your beloved father. May he rest in peace my love.

I'm so glad that I was able to meet Abe and hear his story, right from his mouth. Hearing history firsthanded is so great and now to keep those stories alive. His memory will remain forever, his bravery. Our thoughts and prayers to all of the family.

Dear Eileen and Family,
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Abe. What a great Kriegy hero and patriot! We greatly appreciate his sacrifices and service to our country. He will definitely be missed. We send our sincere sympathies to you all along with our thoughts and prayers. May wonderful memories strengthen and sustain you through your difficult times.
Warm Regards,

Abe was a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was music director of several USO Shows in which he was such a valuable resource. I was honored with a luncheon with the VFW, and was awarded with a pin, certificate and trophy, which I treasure to this day. He was indeed a man to remember. Fly high, my friend.

Eileen and Susan and family,
I hope your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of Abe and of a life well lived. He was my hero too.
God Bless, Love Linda McAllister
