Not sure what to say?

Abe was a profoundly kind-hearted and wise man. All my years of visiting New Orleans to see my family-friends, the Gerbers, I would greet Abe who was always so respectful and good-hearted. He left a proud legacy to his sons, all of whom continue to be inspired by his wisdom. I am still moved by his death all these years later, and know that his good soul remains intact.

Dear Deena, I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. Although I did not know him, I have heard wonderful things about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go through this difficult time.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

We are so sorry for the loss of such a special human being. Abe lived his life according to Jewish values. May his memory be a blessing for his family and all who knew him.

Dear Gerber family,
My heart goes out to you. Few people that I have met have exuded an aura of warmth, gentleness, and kindness like Abe Gerber.
May he rest in peace.

Dear Deena,

I wanted to express my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved Abe.

I know he was loved and will be missed by all.

Sincerely,

Bobby Finkelstein
