God gathered the remnants of Pastor Newman’s life and woven them into a work of dignity and purpose. Being confident of this very thing, Abraham Henry Newman began his work 83 years ago and lived it for God.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye, Pastor Newman you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. We miss you.

You are gone but not forgotten, but precious memories keep you alive in our hearts. Esteem and Dorothy Blanchard.

Rev. Newman - I was just thinking about you and Clarence. It was always a treat when you came in to Sizzler, but when it was you AND Clarence, it was like a double-fudge sundae! So fun. I miss working at Sizzler. Maybe you could pull some strings with the man and help me get my job back...just kidding. I'm sure they keep you busy up there, around here, wherever you're needed, I guess; I just know you're not sitting on your...er...cloud. Ha, Ha. They say the Light of Christ that shines from...

Reverend will be forever missed by all he touched and mentored. May god forever bless the Newman Family.

Bethleham was the 1st church I went to when I was growing up. My grandmother Cynthia Williams was a member and she took us when she 1st came from Arkansas.

We are better today because Dr. Newman came our way. We truly thank God for such a great man.

Dr. Abraham Henry Newman, a man who said what he meant and meant what he said. He was loved and respected for his straight forwardness, wisdom, wit and humor. To the Bethlehem and Newman Family: the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord. We thank God for the time He allowed us to share in the walk with Dr. Newman.

He was like a distant grandpa. I liked his walk, it represented pride.
