I feel so blessed to have gotten the chance to know and love Abe. I will not be able to walk through the Brooklyn VA or get in a New York cab without thinking of him. He was a gem, happy, funny, and a overall kind spirit to be around. I love you and will be thinking of you.

Linda, We here at Post 1001 share in your grief. Abe will be missed at the Post. He brightened it up when he would come in and honor us with his presence. Another one of the "Greatest Generation" has left us to be with his Maker. God Bless You Abe.
