Hello, My sons Cub Scouts troop was at Prado Park last night and while watching the skit one of the two flag poles adjacent to the memorial plaque for Abraham start ed vibrating and shaking very hard. The other flagpole did not move. Very light wind and no earthquakes noted. We think Abraham was saying hello... God Bless

I am a poolee in the DEP. My Staff Sergeant asks us to look up the story of a fallen Marine. It didn't take me long to come across Lance Corporal Simpson's story and I'm glad I did. Like him, I am very religious, but had some doubts about how much I could or would be willing to express my faith to others in the corps. Reading this has inspired me to live out my faith and have it help me become a better Marine because of it.

I work with your father and he is a perfect example of a true leader. He passes his knowledge on to officer candidates, junior grade, company grade, and even field grade officers to say the least. Knowing him and his selfless service, I know that you were an outstanding Marine! I often hear your name in casual conversation. You are still with us in spirit even today.
