Not sure what to say?

Ace and I were grad students together at USU. I had to refuse the job offer at Dixie College because I was entering the U. S. Army. Ace was my recommendation and was one of the very best I ever made professionally.

Literary seminars with Ace at the Utah Shakespeare Festival were among my favorite things in the world. I'm so saddened to find out about his death. What a loss. Thank you, Dr. Pilkington, for all the great conversation.

I'm so sad to learn of Dr. Pilkington's death. I took as many courses as I could from him, I especially enjoyed his history courses and his love of the material. Travel well!

I will always remember Ace excelling in English classes at USU as undergraduate. Also the extra information concerning Shakespeare plays in Cedar City . Ace had that certain Shakespeare genius throughout his educational years! DS Stayner

I took five courses from Dr. Pilkington during the 2002-2003 school year (in history and English), and he was one of my favorite professors at then-Dixie State College. Dixie State has lost one of its brightest stars. ...

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Ace. We were classmates from elementary school through high school. He was such an amazing person and will be so greatly missed. I am blessed to have known him. Debbie Hooker

I am shaken by this sad news. I took Folklore from Dr. Pilkington just last semester. He taught me how to fully appreciate and understand folklore. I learned so much about Russian folktales and Slavic literature from him. He was one of the most passionate and learned professors that I have ever studied under. When I needed help he was quick to respond and always full of insight and wisdom. To have one of my favorite professors taken so abruptly weighs heavy on my heart and soul. He often...

The Bard himself is mourning the passing of Dr. Ace Pilkington.

My heart is sad to see my friend and one of my very favorite teachers has passed away from this life. Mr. Pilkington at the time taught me correct and advanced skills in English, writing and communication at Dixie College back in 1981-83. I excelled with his mastery of teaching. He will always be remembered, loved and appreciated.
