     Acie Hager, 80, of Hardy, KY, passed away Wednesday November, 27, 2024, at his residence. Acie was born January 11, 1944, at Ransom, KY, to the late Jesse Hager and Hines Smith Hager. Acie is also preceded in death by his wife Sharon Kaye Hager, his sisters' Janice Lea Hager, Mary Ellen Hager, and Myrl Hager, his brothers, Onis Hager and Burl Hager, his half-sisters, Ethel Jenkins and Marie Pompie and his half-brothers, Pierce Hager, Willie Jake Hager and Henry Hager. Acie was a coal miner, a member of the U. M. W. A. and a member of the Leckieville Freewill Baptist Church.
     Acie is survived by his children, Pam Hager of Hardy, KY, Shawn (Kelli) Hager of Inez, KY, and Jared Hager of Forest Hills, KY, two sisters,  Annie Coleman of Huddy, KY, and Lois (Bob) Justice of Ransom, KY. Acie is also survived by his grandchildren, Colton Ace Hager, Summer Nicole Hager, Shawn Wesley Keenan (Kaitlyn) Hager, Caleb Patrick Hager (Jadrien Morrow), and Landon Davis Hager and a host of loving family and friends. 
     Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Sunday December 1, 2024, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Lee Dotson officiating. Burial will follow at Jake Hager Cemetery, Ransom, KY, with Shawn Hager, Jared Hager, Colton Hager, Shawn Wesley Hager, Caleb Hager and Landon Hager serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Saturday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with special services at 7 PM with Lee Dotson officiating. R. E.
