Ada Allison Obituary
She was born on December 18, 1920, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank and Irene (nee Hibberd) Willsher. On March 9, 1947, she married Vincent "Red" Allison in Sacred Heart Church. He died in 1987.
For more than 45 years, Mrs. Allison worked as a matron for Yonkers Raceway, retiring in 1997.
Mrs. Allison is survived by her son, James, of Tucson, Arizona. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Beth McSpedon, in 1992. She is also survived by her loving sister, Dorothy Connors, of Yonkers; her step-brother, Brendan McCormick; her son-in-law, Thomas J. McSpedon; and her six grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Allison, Kristin, Lisa, and Suzanne.
