Dear Pat, Sandy, and families,
I was very surprised and saddened to read of your mother's passing. She was such a kind and thoughtful person and I have such nice memories of her when Pat and I shared the apartment many years ago. I am so sorry for your loss.

Betty will be missed by many including her church family. Our prayers are with the whole family during this difficult time. Pieter and Teresa Benne as well as Abigail, Elizabeth and Isaac.

As best friends beginning in junior high through high school and then college, I remember so many occasions when I spent time at your house and your mother always put up with us and even made me feel so welcome and part of the family.
