Ada White Long

I am so sorry for your loss. Ada was a neighbor of mine on St. George Island and we had wonderful times together and laughed about all her cats and shared stories of the visiting students. Her academic achievements are beyond excellent and her willingness to help others and the planet were exceptional. I was proud to call her a friend.

I am very sorry to hear of Ada's passing. She was a wonderful friend, and a great teacher. She changed my life and will always be thankful.

I will miss you my friend. Although we had different opinions on some things, I always loved our conversations and the great hugs that we shared. Love and Hugs forever.

Ada brought her innovative approach to Teaching and Learning to our UAB Students. Her unique personal caring will continue to touch and inspire us as Learners of any Age. I knew Ada as one of her Literature Students, as a Faculty Wife, and the "optimistic" Parent of one of her Students! God Rest her Soul, and comfort us as we share her loss!
