Ada Dassie Roberts

Ada Dassie Roberts was born on September 30, 1930, in Sylvester, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Cornel & Lizzie Dassie. She was converted at an early age and attended various churches. She worked for many years as a laborer of domestic work until she retired. Ada was a woman who was content with simple pleasures, like going to Dollar General or Family Dollar just to browse and maybe run into someone she hadn’t seen in a while, sparking a good conversation. Mostly, she was a homebody who loved to cook and watch television. Ada Dassie Roberts transitioned from this life to eternal life on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Ava leaves to cherish her memories, one Daughter: Mary Roberts; Grandchildren: Arenesha and Tanaya Simmons, Maxie and Wydia Griffin, Le'Ondra Roberts, and Herman Hayes, Jr.; six Great-Grandchildren: Tradasha Roberts, Miracle Triplett, Zy'Nayan Griffin, Kailani Griffin, Leighton Griffin, and Maricas Triplett, II; a Goddaughter: Janice Smith; a lifelong Friend: Annie Ward Johnson, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Preceding Mrs. Roberts in death were her Father: Cornel Dassie; her Mother: Lizzie Dassie; and all her Siblings: Melissa Dassie, Mary Alice Wheeler, Hubert Dassie, Sr., Thelma Dassie, Ida Bell Dassie, Willie J. Dassie, and Annie Mae Simpson.
