To My Family:

It is with great sadness that I am writing in this book today. I put it off to the last possible moment because of how difficult it is for me. It has been exactly 30 days and I miss her.

My mother.... she loved us all. She had a good heart and always the best intentions. I will miss her. Life really will not be the same without her. Eventually we will all move on, but in the meantime - it is still hard for me to believe that she is not here. Going...

I think this is the hardest thing we have had to go through as a family. I love all you guys very much. I want to give a special thanks to my sister Evelyn. Evelyn, I know this was very very hard for all of us but, especially you, you took on a heavy burden, spending nights at the hospital with my mother, talking to doctors, keeping us all informed, funeral arrangements, keeping track of absolutely everything. I or better yet, WE ARE ALL VERY PROUD...
