Not sure what to say?

Dear Nicola and Andrea:
I was shocked and very sorry to hear about your Mom tonight from my neighbor, Elinor Mannucci at 1111. I have been a neighbor of you mother's forever, since she lived in Manhattan. When your parents came to NYC, your Dad was on my father(Alan Guttmacher's OB-GYN) staff at Sinai. I remember them like yesterday and the dozen long stem red roses they sent after my son's birth. That was 50 years ago.
Please accept my condolences. I am so sorry...

How strange - I have been thinking about your mother so much in the last few weeks, and decided to look on the internet to see if there was news of her. I was so terribly sad to see that she had died. She was very very kind and most loving to me for years when I saw her at her home professionally. I am so sorry for your loss, and all your family too. Thinking of you all and wish I had seen the notice to attend her funeral. She was wonderful and gifted at her chosen profession - and I...

Dear Nicola and Andrea,

I've just learned of the passing of your dear mother. Our friendship goes back to when she and your father were still interns at Mt. Sinai. What a difference they both have made in our lives. When they first returned from South Africa to live, they came to visit and our friendship bloomed. Your mother was such a wonder in everything she did, I so admired her taste in every facet of existence.
Both my husband Zvi, and my children Hillel and Leora,...

Nicola and family,
Fran and I extend our heartfelt condolences to you all.

Nicola and Andrea,

Your mother was the best fun--for tennis and gardening and music and books, ballet and theater--and I have missed her these past years. She loved you both very much and I hope your memories bring you comfort. My thoughts are with you.

Nicola and Andrea, my thoughts are with you. I will always remember how welcoming you were on our first trip to New York, staying on the Upper East Side - with a doorman. Ada selected the best restaurants and recommended the choicest Broadway Shows. Culture was a Must. Always loved the letters she wrote to my Dad in that flamboyant turquoise scrawl of hers - which he would read aloud at the dinner table. I remember her visiting here in Pucci and Donna Karan with that medal weighing down her...

Andrea and Milo--

We have missed Ada on our corner of the world for too long, but the memories of her and her roses will always make us smile. The more I learned of her, the more I admired her strength and fortitude.

Dear Andrea and Milo, Ada was an original whose intelligent flashing eyes, passion for all beautiful things that grow, and tenacity were obvious from the getgo. I will always love how completely infatuated she became with you, Milo, and for the oasis of green she nurtured at our B street corner.
