We (her across-the-street neighbors since 1987) will miss her big smile (see picture!), her cheery "Ciao!," the dahlias for our church, the eggs from the Calcagno chickens, and so much more. My way of processing grief is to write. I hope you don't mind me sharing a few vivid memories of my early life with your family and some of the stories and history Adalgisa ("Delchesa" as we grew up calling her) shared with me.
