George L Doherty Funeral Service, Inc - Somerville Obituary

Brisbois, Adam Louis of Boston, formerly of Somerville passed away suddenly on May 4, 2022. He was 39.

Born in Cambridge and raised in Somerville. He was the son of Michael A. and Lisa P. Brisbois.

Adam loved to cook. He took his love for cooking and made himself a career. He was extremely talented in the kitchen. He could make anything taste delicious. When he wasn’t working, he was being a jokester and making everyone laugh. He could make you laugh till you had tears coming down your face. No one could every stay mad at him because he would have you laughing so you could not be angry anymore. Adam was so kind and loving and that showed even more once he became a father to his two children. They were the light of his life and his biggest pride and joys. Family was extremely important to him. He would always check in to let every know he loved them and of course to show off his new shoes or shirts. He loved Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Star Wars and he was also a devoted Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics fan. Adam will be deeply missed by all who knew him. If you or someone you love are struggling with mental health or substance abuse, please reach out for help, you are worth it!

Adam was the beloved son to Lisa P. Brisbois and her husband Robert “Bobby” Dyer of Somerville and Michael A. Brisbois and Teresa Russo Brisbois of Medford. He was the devoted father to Lilli and Teagan Brisbois of Pittsfield, NH. The devoted brother of Sheri Graziano and her husband William of Stoneham, Tyler Brisbois of Malden and Jarred Brisbois of NH. Loving uncle of Francisco and Xavier Rios of Malden. He also leaves behind his longtime friend Jessica Goodwin and her children Olivia and Liam Melling and many other loving family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Tuesday, May 17th from 3 to 7 PM.

Not sure what to say?

So very sorry. God Bless

Adam will be missed. We are sorry for your loss.

When we have to say good bye to a loved one who passes on from this world to Gods loving arms it's not easy but we hold the unto the joy their life brought to us even for such a short time, we will never understand Gods plans until we meet with Him face to face But we are like flowers and there is an Angel that comes from Heaven and gathers us one by one to create Gods' beautiful bouquet Adam is now part of that bouquet and how joyous it will be when you his Loved ones get to Heaven...

Love you, and I grieve for you.

My deepest condolences to Sheri Graziano and Family members.

I heard great stories about Adam from his dear sweet Mom! It was nice to meet him and his kids at a gathering. His kids were gentle and fantastic with my young son. Sending our deepest condolences to Lisa and her family. May warm memories be a blessing at this time. And may Adam be at peace.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy. Sending prayers, love and blessings to all, Lynda
