I first met Buddy in Irving, Texas right after I married into the family in 1966. I had married Kay's cousin on her Daddy's side. I will never forget his kindness and his big smile...............he always had a smile. I had not seen either he or Kay for many years but felt them in my heart for all these years. I know he will be missed by all.

First off, I would like to thank you all for joining us today in celebrating the life of my father in law, Buddy. In case you don’t know who I am, I’m the man who stole daddy’s little girl and moved her to Colorado. I’m here today to say a few words on behalf of myself and my wife Angela about a man I am proud to call dad.

Buddy Grafe was a man of true conviction, with a heart the size of his home-state of Texas. The words “No I can’t help you” were not included within his vocabulary....

Adam “Buddy” Kruger Grafe Jr., born on January 17, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday May 24, 2007 with his family by his side. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend with a heart of gold.
