Not sure what to say?

My uncle Adam was a great person with a good head on his shoulders and a great heart. He was strong but gentle, caring but still firm, wise without being arrogant, knowledgeable without being pompous, and elegant but still simple. I still warmly remember the many times we enjoyed company and broke bread. He was there for me with a kind word and good advice many times. Adam lived a good life and was blessed. I will remember him with my head and inside heart.

Mr. Helfand came to my class twice to lecture about being a survivor of the Shoah. He had a unique presence and his delivery was so calm...and yet so emotive. May he have a unique presence with the Holy One.

How blessed we are to have known Adam. We are very saddened by his passing, his family's loss. He lived his life with righteousness, conviction, courage, warmth, and dedication to his family, whom he loved dearly. He will be deeply missed.

We are saddened by the death of Adam who lived such a courageous and inspiring life. We marvel at his will to survive the horrific crimes of the Holocaust and his immutable capacity to embrace life with joy and humor and love despite the hatred and evil he and his family and the Jewish family endured. How blessed are we to have been with him if only a few times in our life. What a beautiful man.

Loving his memory and the gifts he has left behind in our hearts and in our...

Uncle Adam was a great source of inspiration and a joy to be around. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

It was a joy and honor to have known him. We relished his smiling face whenever he visited. He actually glowed. Our deepest sympathy to your entire family. We are saddened for the loss of his warmth and the direct link to our past.

Love,
Al & Scott

Adam will be sorely missed by all of us, the Najmias Family. Long after our sister Rebecca and Adam were separated, he remained part of our family and our preferred brother-in-law. He was always the inspirational leader at all of our jewish holiday gatherings. He had a wealth of knowledge which he enjoyed sharing with all. Adam, you will always be in our memories and will always live in our hearts.

Dear Family:
I was just looking to do a crossword puzzle today when the paper flapped open in the wind and your father's, brother's, uncle's, and grandson's obit caught my eye. What a remarkable person he was! He is a loss to not only your family, but to the world who remained silent and the world that now understands his sacrifice. That he could even be the wonderful person he was with all that he was exposed to, is a testament to a loving and enriching culture that he must have...

I am so moved by the story of this wonderful man. How blessed your family is to have known him How inspired the rest of us are.
