Not sure what to say?

Diane, I haven't heard from you in a while. I often wonder how you and Adam's parents are getting along. Please know you are still in my prayers. We went camping at Ricketts Glen last week--the water falls were beautiful. I couldn't get Adam off my mind. In fact, I always think of him whenever I step out of my box and try something new. Adam challenged me to do more, see more, live more. I will always appreciate that very special gift. Jo

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Poda, Danielle,Judy and the rest of the Poda family, i have just heard of the very unfortunate news and wanted to let you all know that you are all in my prayers. Adam was a great guy, he always made me laugh even at times when i thought nobody could do so! My sincere condolences go out to you all, Adam will be missed very much, he was a great man!

sincerely,

Sean Holden (Pottsville, Pa)

I just learned of Adam's passing over the weekend. I knew him from his days at the Cornerstone, but I don't stop there much anymore or I may have heard the sad news sooner. I didn't know Adam or Diane real well, but well enough to know that they are both special people. One couldn't help but like Adam. He was always friendly and outgoing whenever I crossed paths with him. This is so unfair to everyone in his world. I hope that Diane finds the strength to get past this terrible event and...

Poda family,

I have been in the off-and-on search for you online for some time. This now is the news I find, and I only wish I had managed to get a hold of you sooner. My prayers are with you, of course, as are the prayers of many, I am sure. I always remember Adam fondly. I wish I could have spent more time around him. I am so sorry for your loss. Adam, and your whole family, was such an amazing blessing to me at a crucial point in my life. You all have always had a very, very special...

To the Poda family,

I want to express my deepest sympathies for your loss. I did not know Adam well but was always glad to see him when he came to HACC. He always had some interesting stories to share. I was impressed by his warmth, his smile, and his kindness.

I know this must be a difficult time and my thoughts are with you all.

I met Adam sometime in high school, maybe during sophomore year. He was a free spirit that could be devilish in his most humorous moments. For example, he once tackled me soccer-leg-sweep style to demonstrate just how brutal the sport could be. Hehehe.

A few years ago, I ran into him again at a fitness center. Our exchange lasted longer than initially expected. I was captivated by his stories of traveling westward, going from job to job, as he made his way to California, only to sit...

To Adams family and friends, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I met Adam on my first day of school at PAHS and he quickly introduced me to his other friends and showed me around. I was only in Pottsville for 2 years before I moved away but I will always consider him a friend. Adam was a great guy with a great sense of humor and I hope we all can cherish our memories of the time we spent with him.

To Adam's Family and Diane: It is with much sorrow that I write to extend my sympathy to you. Only knowing Adam through our friendship at the coffee shop, I was so touched by his kind personality and sense of humor. Please know that many, many friends are praying for you.

To Aunt Denise and Uncle David,
I am thankful to have known your son and to have been touched by his kindness. He still calls me everyday!
Love Your Nephew Mike
