I taught Adam in the 7th grade. I didn't receive word of his death until Thursday, for which I am very sorry. Adam was one of my special students because of the bond we formed when he found out that I was a fan of The Highlander TV series. I'll never forget my relationship that I shared with Adam over this last year and 3 months. He meant the world to me, he was my strength. Nothing was supposed to happen to my strong Adam but he will always have a special place in my heart. I had so many memories of Adam and I just eating pizza and watching TV or just going to the movies and taking simple drives around place to place. I will always remember him and his (actually good) singing to me in the car, my music will never be the same....

I understand there are no words to describe or lessen the pain of what you are going through right now. I can only share a part of your grief and even that is terribly saddening to me. I pray that you can remember Adam’s smile, love of life and know that he loved you so much.
