- Addie Bowen Plummer, age 91, a resident of 145 Mike Ledford Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. A native of Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late June and Ethel McMurry Bowen and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bobbie Moore, four sisters, Pauline Webber, Lela Wyle, Doris French and Mary Rush. A loving mother and grandmother, who was a hard worker and provider for her family. A member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain and retired from Kings Mountain District Schools were she worked at the Kings Mountain Middle School for 18 years.

I remember Addie from my days working at Kings Mtn. High School cafetereia. That was a while ago, but I never forgot Addie. She was a wonderful person who was caring and warm. So sorry to hear of her passing.
