Not sure what to say?

To Addie's Family,

I have already expressed verbally to each of you how I felt about Addie. Buster and Addie have been good friends of ours since 1959 and they had a very positive impact on my life. Addie was a wonderful Christian lady who had class and dignity. I will miss her very much, and I still can't believe she is gone. Those of us who are Christians will see her in Heaven when God calls us home. May God continue to bless and strengthen the family.

I'm sorry that I heard of Mrs. Rodgers' death too late to attend her memorial. My entire family sends their sympathy at the loss your family will experience, but also rejoices to know she is in the heaven that she so believed in and shared with many others in her lifetime. Mother (Inez) & I were fortunate to have seen Mr. Rodgers at the Huntsville Park Baptist Church reunion a few months ago. My family in Jackson, MS send their regards to your entire family. Our memories certainly have your...

Buster, I know there is a great void in your life now but God will comfort you as He promised. Addie was a great Christian lady. The love of Jesus flowed through her. I thank God that I had the opportunity to know her.

Aunt Mae was a beautiful lady, both inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God bless and comfort you each and every one. Sincerely,Evelyn (Coffell) Crawford

Dear Buster, Pat, Martha and families: We join in giving thanks for Addie Mae's life and how she lived it - youall have been a great comfort to our family in years past. Mother is 92 and lives in a nearby nursing home - she sends her love - God Bless You All until we meet in that land where the soul never dies. Carl and Frances Witcher and Ophelia O'Rear

Mr. Rodgers, Martha and Patricia, I wanted you to know how much Mrs. Rodgers (it is hard for me to call her Addie Mae) meant to me as a young person attending Huntsville Park Baptist. As part of Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers'Sunday School/Training Union class, as well as good friends of the family, we were in their home on many occassions and on Socials on Monte Sano and many many other occasions. I felt like I was cared about and liked by both of them. I have run into them many times over the years...
