Mrs. Word was my second grade teacher in Suffolk in 1965. She was a nice lady and a very good teacher.

As a lifelong member of East End, I have very fond memories of Mrs. Word. She was one of the sweetest ladies you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. I am so blessed to have known her. Heaven truly has an angel now.
