Funeral for Addison Grimes Jr., 84, of Moulton will be Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Williams and Bro. Atwell Terry officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Grimes, who died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at Cullman Regional Medical Center, was born May 23, 1924, in Lawrence County to Jim Grimes and Adania Grimes. He was a logger. He was preceded in death by his brother, Price Grimes.
He is survived by his companion, Barbara Waits of Moulton; three sons, Tim Grimes and his wife, Carolyn, Mickey Grimes and his wife, Judy, and Theron Grimes, all of Moulton; three brothers, Robert Grimes, James Grimes and Ferman Grimes, all of Moulton; one sister, Nancy Boyels of Moulton; two grandchildren, Dusty Grimes and Tammy Woodard; and four great-grandchildren, Cody Woodard, Colton Woodard, Drezden Grimes and Natalie Grimes.
Pallbearers will be Paul Cartee, Edsel Parker, Doyle Grimes, Heath Grimes, Michael Woodard, Wayne Davis, Greg Grimes, Jimmy Grimes and Roger Jones.
