To the Family of Dr Nefrawi:

I had a great respect and a fondness for this man. He endeared himself to me on an occasion when I was 'floating' from one unit to another at HMC. In the '70's we used a hand held Doppler device to check peripheral pulse. This Doppler was kept in ICU. There was a patient whose circulation needed to be checked. I was working on that floor that evening and when Dr Nafrawi asked for the Doppler, no one knew what he was talking about. Thank goodness I did and...

Sorry to hear of the passing of Del this new year. He was a great family friend, and an insightful, thought-provoking conversationalist. I'll always remember Del, and respect his life journey and accomplishments.
Rest in peace, old boy...I'll miss you.
