My most sincere condolences to Maria, Bruce, Alice, Felicia, and Mark for their loss of their dearest mother. She was such a warm and friendly person who was always willing to help those in need. She would always buy a whole pie at the East Reading Swim Club´s bake sale, slice it up, and give it to all the kids, not getting even a small slice for herself. This pretty much described her character and how she lived her life. The world desperately needs more people like her. Rest in Peace.

As a child my grandmother would take me to the store to get a treat after lunch. I always thought 'Ardell' had the nicest smile (and lots of patience). Years later I saw her catering at an event at the old Rajah. She remembered my grandmother and took time to talk and laugh with me. She was such a nice lady with a warm and loving personality. May she walk the streets of heaven renewed in body.
