Adelaide Sauers

I just decided to check on the Sauers family to try and find out how they were doing. My family is from Lithuania, and then lived in a displaced persons camp in Lubeck, Germany. We lived on their farm after coming to the U.S. The Sauers family opened their home to us. My father Emil Margis and my mother Betty Margis and my sister, Edita, and me (Milda Margis) have many fond memories of the beauiful estate Mrs. Sauers left for Jimmy and Adie. Adelaide was a good friend to us and our 4 children, as well as their pediatrician. She will always be fondly remembered by us all.

Dr. Sauers was a lifelong friend of our family. She was our pediatrician and continued to "doctor" us well into adulthood. She was our friend and part of our family. She was a very strong woman and never did we hear a word of complaint from her even through many difficult illnesses she had. She will be greatly missed by our family.
