Not sure what to say?

I was very sad to learn that Dolly had passed away. I want to extend my sympathy to all of her family. We met in 1956. We cheered together in Junior High and in High School. I was a year behind Dolly. She was a great leader. I have wonderful memories of her, and some pictures too. I am so sorry for your loss. Cindy Wilgus Tompkins --Rhode Island & Fl

We were so saddened to hear of Adele's passing. When we first moved to the neighborhood, she and the twins were so welcoming of our daughter in a new school. It was very typical outgoing behavior for her and her children, and our hearts go out to you all.

I was deeply sorry to hear about Adele's death. I had no idea she was ill. There are so many fond memories I have of our daughters growing up together, playing on a great soccer team. Adele and I watched many of those games together and cheered our girls on with a lot of energy. To Jeffrey, Allison and Jessica: my heart goes out to all of you and your many children. I know how much you loved your mother. She was always there for all of you. With deep sympathy, Anne Tavel

An icon in Wellesley. Adele's presence will be so missed. Always a smile and a warm hug with a sincerity that she owned. My heart is aching for all of her family. My thoughts and condolences to all of her loved ones. Sending all my best love, Penny Gold

Adele was truly one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the privilege to call my friend. Her love for family was boundless and I offer my sincere condolences to every one of her children and grandchildren and all her other family members. Wellesley has lost a pillar of the community, real estate has lost one of the greatest, and all the rest of us are so blessed just to have known her. I will smile when I think of her for the rest of my days.

So sad to hear of Adele's passing. Having worked and played with her over the years was a true pleasure. She was so well respected what a terrific person! She will be missed by all.....Rest in peace.....

I will never forget your kindness and friendship . I came to Wellesley HS as a junior knowing no one and you reached out to me making me feel so welcomed. You remained a warm, successful and loving woman throughout your life. Rest in peace Dolly, you will be missed.
