Adele was an extraordinary nursing leader. Her expertise served the health care community internationally, as Executive Director of the International Council of Nurses and founding CEO of the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools. Her intellect, energy and creativity enriched many lives. She modestly declined most accolades, but was much loved by nursing colleagues.
