Adele C. Howard

Adele C. Howard passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the age of 90. Daughter of the late Robert and Leonie Cochran. Wife of the late John S. Howard. Mother of John S. Howard, Jr. (wife: Gloria), David A. Howard, and Joan R. Heepke (husband: Richard), and the late Robert G. Howard. Grandmother of Wendi McMillan, John Howard III, Barry Howard, Kristin Howard, Christopher Howard, Michelle Howard, and Austin Howard. Great grandmother of Alan McMillan, Hayden McMillan, Laura Rose Howard, Madison Howard, and Ryan Howard. Sister of the late Myrtle Neider, Shirley O'Dowd, and Anna Mae Mauberret. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Nurses Registry, Americare Hospice, and River Regions Hospice for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Christopher Church, 309 Manson Ave. in Metairie, on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
