Sea Bright! Sparkling sunlight glinting like sequins off cooling blue waters, stirred by refreshing sea breezes. A hometown name with metaphoric qualities so perfectly suited to Adele’s luminous spirit. Such beautiful memories she spreads in her wake.

You are a STAR and blazed a trail across Virginia and the country. Your energy, vision, compassion and passion to make a difference did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. You made life better for so many. We will work to live up to your contributions and leadership. Rest in Peace knowing your journey was a wonder and we are better for having traveled with you. Much love and blessings

I did not know Mrs. Johnson personally. We conversed occasionally when I attended art and cultural events at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia. She ensured guest always felt welcomed. Her demeanor was calm and professional. Truly a woman of grace. Earth´s loss is heaven´s gain. RIP!

RIP. A wonderful, inspiring person

My deepest Condolences to you and your family I´m forever praying for strength comfort and peace.

Just read the article in the Tues RTD. Extending my sincerest condolences to Bill and the entire family. I met Adele through One Voice Chorus and had such huge respect for her gracious leadership skills and love for all.

Adele was a beautiful person, inside and out. My deepest sympathy goes to her family and friends. Our community has lost a jewel.
