My connection to her is through her brother Gerald who I also did not meet, but who flew for my Dad's all-Veterans airline as a Navigator in 1946 to Prague in June and Athens in August with war relief hatching eggs and livestock for the United Nations. Obviously a dedicated and very special family. My message is late, but heart-felt.

Eugenia Rowland and my mother were close friends at the University of Southern California. Eugenia was one of my mother's bridesmaids. I have fond memories of her visits to our home. As a teenager I was inspired by her photography, particularly her photo montage images, and she and I would talk about them.
