Adele loved to go to the horse racing at Bay Meadows. In fact she taught her grandkids how to bet on the ponies!

Sharing in the beautiful memories we have of Adele. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Giving of herself to help others and touching the lives of many in the process. Geoff & Jerome

I met Adele in 1952, the summer before I married Ninong Jake. After we made our home in The City she became my once and forever best friend. We shared weddings, births and everything in between. She became my daughter Dia,s godmother. Adele loved piano, people, parties and poker! She meant so much to my life. My "Del Del" is forever on my heart.

PIANO YEARS
At age eight she had a teacher named Mr. Critchfield her taught her how to read music for twenty five cents an hour. It was months later that the teacher realized that she was progressing slowly and didn't know that she could not see the notes and needed reading glasses. She said she was afraid to tell him that she could not see the notes. So her mother got her glasses and then she was on her way.
At age twelve she attended the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music...

Urbiztondo Christmas

Adele was instrumental in welcoming my late wife, Terri, and me when we moved to San Francisco in 1989. She was a dear friend who shared our interest in Filipino American history. I visited Adele in Las Vegas a few years ago and regret I haven't seen her since. I am unable to attend her memorial but want to convey my condolences and prayers to her family and friends.
